organize your library and export to USB<br><strong>Performance mode<\/strong> &#8211; perform your DJ gig<br><strong>Lighting mode<\/strong> &#8211; program and control lights for your DJ gig<br><strong>Edit mode<\/strong> &#8211; headphone output<\/td><td>\u274c<\/td><td>\u2714\ufe0f<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Change volume of player deck individually<\/td><td>\u274c<\/td><td>\u2714\ufe0f<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Export mode<\/strong> and the <strong>Performance mode<\/strong> have the same features 85% of the time.<br>But there are some difference in the goal of the modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see the Export mode as the program-mode: you program stuff in the Export mode to use on Alphatheta equipment or in the performance mode.<br>When you are at home preparing your DJ set, you have other needs than when you are playing your gig live in front of an audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example: you want to be able to set the tempo of a song in the Export mode from 128 to 126 Beat Per Minute because the beatgrid wasn&#8217;t correct.<br>This is a destructive edit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it would be annoying if you did this by accident while playing your DJ gig.<br>Because that would mean that all your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deejayplaza.com\/en\/dj-terminology-glossary#hot-cues-cue-points-song-markers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cues, Hot Cues<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deejayplaza.com\/en\/dj-terminology-glossary#loops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">loops<\/a> don&#8217;t work anymore on the same tempo.<br>But you would want to bend the tempo of a track temporarily to match the other track you want to mix in. <br>This is a non-destructive edit.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"read-next\">Read next<\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-deejay-plaza wp-block-embed-deejay-plaza\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"dGyAN2jtO1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deejayplaza.com\/en\/articles\/how-to-use-rekordbox-beginners-guide\">How to use Rekordbox 7: step-by-step beginners guide<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
